Did this obsession all start with that aweful Flash Gordon movie? For some odd reason, those guitar pictures remind me of that movie, and I'm not entirely sure why.
It doesn't really matter if you can play or not! Most guitars are literally works of art and can be collected as such. The guy living across the street from me shops flea markets and such and comes up with some really nice ones for his collection, but he only actually knows a few songs and plays them on his trusty old acoustic. Guitar collecting is quite popular now.
