Eric liked the latest film, especially the performance by Nell Tiger Free, but Drew found it much too slow and didn’t like any of the characters. Along they way they discuss Boney M’s “Rasputin,” and both the paternoster (a continuously moving, doorless passenger elevator) and the funicular (a specialized cable railway system designed to transport people or cargo up and down steep slopes).

Talk of the ’76 film begins immediately.

The First Omen convo starts about 54:00

Housekeeping starts at 1:29:00 during which Eric recommends Wet Leg and their song “Catch These Fists,” and Jason recommends the new Oasis documentary “Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger.” RIP Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, Patrick Stewart, and Walter Koenig.
