Slips of the Tongue

Oh get your head out of the gutter.

Have you ever said something but even as you said it you wanted to reel it back in?

One of my lovely coworkers yesterday received a call about a motor vehicle accident involving a single vehicle striking and killing a moose (not an uncommon occurence).

In a moment which I completely sympathize with, she found herself asking the caller "Is the moose still dead?"

You cannot make up stuff like this. While it probably did not inspire a whole lot of confidence from the caller, it makes me laugh.

are there any drag queens in anchorage?

I think it would be fair to say that Anchorage is the draq queen capital of Alaska

Poor girl! I wonder if she realized it the moment it was out there. Yikes!

I work for an insurance company and am so glad I stumbled across your page... That is a comment I could easily see the worker who sits next to me letting slip, only in our case it would be Kangaroo rather than moose.

lol oh that cracks me up, reminds me of the number of times I said yes ma'am, when it was a man, and vice versa lol.

Hopefully the moose was dead the whole time, if not, the end is near!!!

I did that just the other day. I had to call off work, and I said, I will be at my next shift, unless I call of because I died. Talk about wishing you could reel it back in.
