Brothers J and Drew discuss the 2016 Denis Villeneuve film “Arrival,” which they highly recommend as long as you know going in that it will take your full attention. Drew picked this one because he is looking forward to Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune 3” to be released later this year (2026).
Housekeeping starts about 35:00 when it is revealed that Drew picked this one because he is looking forward to Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune 3” to be released later this year (2026) because he so enjoyed “Dune 2.” They discuss that Paul Atreides is a truly a villain. They also discuss Drew’s fear that Avenger’s Doomsday will be a very bad movie. Jason talks some more about the process of getting a new oven/stove and whether any of the bells and whistles (conduction cooktops which are cool and internet capabilities which maybe no one needs).
